Units are offered here on an AS IS basis. These units are 40 to 70 years old in some cases, and have exceded their expected design lifespan by a great deal. We strive to represent each unit as accurately as possible. Calibration services are offered at an additional charge. Reference the table below for the different levels of calibration services that are available. Full calibrations are not required for sale, however partial calibrations will not guarantee that a unit meets full factory specifications. Some units can be quite heavy to ship. We will ship insured on request, and appropriately pack equipment. Items can ship ground, express, or overnight. We will quote shipping on serious offers and inquiries. Calibration Services Cost for calibration services vary widely based on the equipment and the gear needed to be calibrated as well as the level of calibration. Calibration can be done from basic function and accuracy check all the way up through NIST traceable alignments. Data can be provided on unit calibration upon request as well as for an additional fee. Calibrations can take an extended amount of time depending on the gear in need of service. A full factory alignment on a 4xx series scope, for example, can take 6-8 hours of bench time and that is when no repairs are required. Additional repairs add complexity as well as time to service interval. We try and keep our turn around time as efficiently as possable, however the Wizard does have a full time 9-5 job that is not part of the lab or bench workflows. Therefore, the Wizard is slower than some that have dedicated time to the tasks at hand. Please do keep that in mind with some longer than normal turn around times. | |||||
